Position Overview —
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Designer to join our team on a temporary contract basis. In this role, you will lead the design of intuitive, user-centered experiences across our digital products and platforms. You will play a key role in shaping product experiences by translating complex requirements into thoughtful, scalable design solutions.

The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on designer who thrives in collaborative environments. You will partner closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful user experiences that support both user needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities —

Lead the end-to-end UX design process, from discovery and research through wireframing, prototyping, and final design delivery.
Design intuitive and scalable experiences for complex product features and workflows.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define user needs and translate business requirements into effective design solutions.
Conduct or support user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
Develop high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specifications.
Contribute to and help maintain design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across products.
Advocate for UX best practices, accessibility standards, and user-centered design principles.
Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.
Provide guidance and mentorship to other designers when appropriate.

Qualifications —

5+ years of professional experience in UX, product design, or a related discipline.
Proven experience leading complex design projects from concept through delivery.
Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design processes and impactful product outcomes.
Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in product-driven or agile environments.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and business goals when making design decisions.

Preferred Qualifications —

Experience designing for SaaS platforms, enterprise products, or complex digital systems.
Experience working with established design systems and component libraries.
Familiarity with UX research methodologies and usability testing practices.
Experience partnering closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation of designs.

Portfolio Requirement —

Candidates must provide a portfolio demonstrating UX design work and design process, including examples of problem definition, research insights, design iterations, and final solutions.

A reasonable, good-faith estimate of the hourly pay for this position is $50.00 to $60.00 per hour. The successful candidate’s placement within this range is dependent on a variety of factors, such as qualifications and level of professional experience. Independent contract positions are not eligible for company benefits.
