We are looking for Media & Social Monitoring Analysts to join our 24/7 Monitoring Command Centre.
This role focuses on continuous monitoring, issue identification, and disciplined escalation across social media and traditional media channels.
This is not an insights or reporting role. It is an operational monitoring role requiring consistency, attention to detail, and comfort working rota-based shifts.
What you will do
- Monitor social media and traditional media channels continuously
- Identify and flag relevant coverage based on defined criteria
- Apply structured triage frameworks to assess potential risk
- Document issues accurately with links, screenshots, and summaries
- Escalate issues promptly according to SOPs
- Complete clear shift handovers
- Follow monitoring and escalation templates strictly
- Work as part of a global, follow-the-sun team
Requirements
- Fluent, professional-level English (written and spoken)
- Prior experience in media monitoring or social listening
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Talkwalker, Brandwatch, Meltwater, Cision, Lexis Nexis, or similar
- Comfortable working night shifts, weekends, and rotating schedules
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Able to follow structured processes and escalation rules
- Calm, reliable, and consistent under pressure
- Experience monitoring crisis or high-risk topics
- Exposure to legal, financial, healthcare, or corporate reputation monitoring
