About the role

The PEO Client Operations Executive role at Rippling provides an extremely unique opportunity -- we’re looking for a talented and ambitious Individual Contributor who can both manage business critical conversations with CSuite clients while also navigating a high-velocity, highly visible, cross functional sales/escalation process.

In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for tackling complex, challenging, often highly sensitive problems and driving real improvements to the business on behalf of the Executive team at Rippling. Acting as a liaison for our PEO/HR Services Leadership you’ll identify and define the larger product and operational problems and drive improvement to ensure successful resolution of complex customer issues. You are right for this role if you get energized by ownership and rapid growth. You understand that businesses need to deliver quality customer experience to be successful. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty to deliver outcomes for customers, and you thrive in intense situations. You are a talented PEO/HR Services professional confident in project managing cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and are passionate about solving the whole problem. Working with great people is a non-negotiable priority for you because you excel on a highly collaborative and high-performance team.

One fundamental belief at Rippling is that this individual spends 100% of their time tackling complex, challenging, often ambiguous PEO/HRS problems and driving real improvements to the business on behalf of the Leadership team at Rippling.

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end management of client engagement that occurs as a result of the Rippling PEO Post Open Enrollment Audit Process and/or Annual Health Insurance Renewal Period. These scenarios require a highly attentive and consultative approach for any changes to their business, so they must be handled with the utmost care.
  • Own Rippling PEO to HRS transition conversations throughout the year (whether due to Rippling PEO Annual Health Insurance Renewal or other reasons).
  • Act as an Executive liaison: Execute on behalf of our Executive team. Instill trust while serving as the customer’s single point of contact and champion for the duration of the escalation issue.
  • Run client calls and provide consultative guidance for Rippling PEO/HRS and small group vs. large group benefits.
  • Become a PEO/HRS product expert and understand our competitor landscape.
  • Manage cross functional Rippling teams and external health broker partners. Work closely with CSM/Account Management/Account Executive teams to ensure a successful resolution to any escalation scenario.
  • Analyze trends and root causes. Conduct thorough root cause analysis on each escalation to identify trends and drive effective process improvement. Share trends analysis with executive leadership.
  • Partner with PEO Benefit Operations, Product teams, and Engineering teams in managing the development and execution of mission critical operational improvements pertaining to PEO and HRS clients.
  • The goal of this role is to be a Rippling DRI for navigating our most complex and sensitive PEO/HRS client challenges.

What you will need

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 2+ years successful PEO sales experience
  • Customer service experience not required, but a plus
  • Active health insurance license or ability to complete licensure process quickly (in first few weeks of hire)
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally with a sense of urgency
  • Executive presence - ability to talk to a CEO with poise
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Solid track record of achievement - e.g. delivered quantifiable business impact, quickly assumed responsibilities, or won competitive awards
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced intense environment
  • Can break complex problems into smaller, actionable solution steps and drive execution
  • Understanding of project management principles and ability to effectively plan, execute, and govern strategic programs
