Student Assistant – IT Operations

You'll work alongside experienced IT professionals, gain exposure to modern cloud technologies, and play an important role in keeping our teams running smoothly — all while fitting around your studies.

What You'll Do

As a Student Assistant in IT Operations, you'll get involved in a broad range of tasks, including:

1st Line IT Support: Be the first point of contact for colleagues with IT questions and issues — helping them get back on track quickly and professionally.

User Onboarding & Off-boarding: Help welcome new employees by setting up their equipment and accounts, and assist with smooth off-boarding procedures.

Meeting Room & Equipment Support: Help maintain meeting rooms and shared equipment so everything works seamlessly during events and meetings.

Access & Asset Management: Assist with tracking hardware and managing user access following best practices.

Documentation: Create and update knowledge base articles so solutions are easy to find and reuse.

Cloud & Azure Exploration: Get your hands on Azure cloud technologies — a great opportunity to grow your cloud skills in a real business setting.

What We're Looking For

You don't need to know everything — we're investing in your growth. Here's what will set you up for success:

Currently enrolled in an IT-related degree (IT support, IT administration, computer science, or similar).

A basic understanding of IT, networks, and how systems connect.

Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and/or Microsoft 365 applications.

A service-oriented mindset — you genuinely enjoy helping colleagues and making their day easier.

Good written and spoken English skills.

Curiosity and eagerness to learn, especially in cloud and automation.

Nice to Have:

Some experience with Intune, SharePoint, or Dynamics 365.

Interest in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Graph API, etc.).

Any prior IT support experience — even informal or from studies.
