The Regional Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the operational performance of multiple dermatology practices within Greater Boston/South Shore/Central Massachusetts. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and financial performance. The Regional Manager collaborates with practice managers, providers, and corporate departments to implement best practices, drive strategic initiatives, and support growth and integration efforts. The role requires a balance of tactical execution and strategic oversight, with a strong focus on patient access, staff development, revenue cycle management, and compliance.

- Provide operational leadership to assigned dermatology practices, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
- Optimize scheduling, staffing models, and workflow processes to enhance patient access, provider productivity, and overall efficiency.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies in collaboration with HR and local leadership.
- Ensure consistent implementation of best practices across offices to maintain high standards of patient experience, compliance, and operational performance.
- Monitor and improve operational processes including inventory management, EMR utilization, and front desk operations.
- Partner with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) teams to improve co-pay collections, charge capture, and claims resolution.
- Analyze financial metrics such as collections per visit, accounts receivable days, and cost efficiency; identify and implement improvements in front-end RCM processes (ex. eligibility verification, charge entry, copay accuracy).
- Track and analyze operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including:
- Practice volume (visits, encounters, utilization)
- Staffing ratios (support staff to provider benchmarks)
- Co-pay collection rates
- Provider scheduling efficiency
- Present performance reports and recommendations to senior leadership; develop and execute action plans to address underperformance and sustain improvements.
- Collaborate with the Regional Vice President of Practice Operations to develop and execute regional strategies focused on growth, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
- Lead integration efforts for newly acquired practices, ensuring operational readiness and cultural alignment.
- Serve as liaison between practice sites and corporate departments (Human Resources, Finance, IT, Compliance, RCM, Marketing) to streamline communication and resolve issues.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in multi-site healthcare operations, preferably in dermatology or outpatient specialty care.
- Proven experience in revenue cycle management, staff development, and performance improvement.
