This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer I in the United States.

In this role, you will help design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure that supports large-scale applications and data processing. You will work closely with development, networking, and security teams to implement automated cloud solutions that are secure, reliable, and efficient. The role provides hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, while exposing you to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools. You will contribute to monitoring, performance optimization, and the continuous improvement of cloud environments. Accountabilities

  • Administer and support cloud-based environments, ensuring availability, security, and performance.
  • Implement CI/CD deployment plans for new and existing infrastructure using best practices and automation tools.
  • Develop monitoring solutions to enhance visibility into system performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Development, Network, and Security teams to integrate requirements into cloud environments.
  • Maintain capacity plans and assist in scaling cloud infrastructure to meet business needs.
  • Support design, build, and deployment of cloud applications, including data processing and analytics workflows.
  • Deliver continuous integration and delivery pipelines, enabling development teams to execute builds, tests, and deployments efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
  • 0–2 years of related work experience, or completion of a cloud-focused emerging talent program.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C, Scala, Python, or Erlang.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Swarm, Kubernetes, or Cloud Foundry.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools like Shell Scripting, Python, Golang, Ansible, or AWS SSM.
  • Understanding of networking, firewall concepts, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Strong desire to learn, curiosity about AI and developer platforms, and an interest in cloud automation technologies.
  • Beginner-level problem-solving skills with ability to gather data, identify issues, and contribute to solutions.
