Cloud Security Operations Analyst (REMOTE)

In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting cloud and digital assets by monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity threats. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with best practices. This position emphasizes proactive threat mitigation, cloud security architecture, and continuous improvement of incident response processes. You will also support automation of repetitive tasks and contribute to enhancing the organization’s overall security posture. Accountabilities

• Provide advanced-level cybersecurity support to prevent, detect, and remediate threats across cloud and enterprise systems.
• Monitor and analyze security events, utilizing existing controls and researching emerging threats relevant to operations.
• Develop, maintain, and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for incident response triage.
• Assist in designing and implementing cybersecurity operations procedures and reports.
• Support automation of repetitive processes to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams on security projects and special initiatives.
• Participate in incident response triage and provide guidance to other Cyber Security Operations teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of relevant experience, with at least two years in cybersecurity or cloud security operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certifications such as CISSP, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or equivalent cloud security certification.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and security principles.
• Experience developing and documenting security processes, procedures, and SOPs.
• Ability to analyze threats, respond to incidents, and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.
