Job Summary

We are seeking a Data Quality Engineer to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and governance of enterprise data. This role requires a blend of strong technical skills and an eye for process automation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data quality monitoring and alerting frameworks.
• Create automation scripts using Python and SQL to ensure data integrity.
• Build dashboards and visualisations using Power BI, Plotly, or similar BI tools.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for data quality issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote best practices in data governance.

Requirements for the role

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data quality engineering or data management.
• Degree in Data Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with BI dashboards and automation.
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Portuguese
• Fluent in English
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
