UI Component Development: Design, build, and maintain responsive, reusable, and customizable UI components for desktop and mobile environments using React, TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and Bootstrap.
State Management & Backend Integration: Utilize React hooks, state management, and RESTful microservices to integrate backend services into interactive client-server applications.
Accessibility & 508 Compliance: Build and test web applications to ensure strict adherence to Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 Level AA accessibility standards using tools such as ANDI, WAVE, Color Contrast Analyzer, and Chrome Lighthouse.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Implement test-driven development (TDD) workflows by writing unit, integration, and regression tests using tools like Jest, React Testing Library, Jasmine, and JUnit.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner remotely with Product Management, Design, and Backend Engineering teams using Agile tools and practices including Git, Jira, Slack, and pair programming.
Basic Qualifications
Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience in front-end software development with a focus on React.js.
Core Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JSON, and Bootstrap or similar UI frameworks.
