THE ROLE

As the Marketing Operations Specialist, you will support the marketing operations team by executing daily data operations, maintaining system accuracy, and assisting with lead management processes.
This position reports to the Marketing Operations Manager and works to maintain data integrity across HubSpot and Salesforce, support lead workflows, and execute operational tasks that keep our marketing and sales systems running smoothly. You'll gain hands-on experience with marketing technology platforms, learn data management best practices, and contribute to the foundation of scalable marketing operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and takes pride in maintaining high data quality standards.
YOU WILL
Data Operations & Quality
- Monitor HubSpot/Salesforce data sync and flag sync failures or data flow issues for escalation
- Execute daily data quality audits and cleanup processes to maintain database accuracy
- Support duplicate detection and resolution workflows across both systems
- Identify and flag orphaned contacts and data integrity issues for resolution
- Assist with data enrichment processes and database standardization initiatives
- Follow established data governance standards and quality control procedures
Lead Management Support
- Support lead creation, validation, and status update processes
- Conduct lead status audits to ensure accurate lifecycle tracking
- Monitor lead routing and flag exceptions or routing failures
- Assist with lead handoff processes between marketing and sales teams
- Validate lead data completeness and accuracy before routing to sales
Account & Database Support
- Execute CapDB (Capital Database) refresh processes under direction
- Assist with account creation and configuration for new go-to-market initiatives
- Support target account list maintenance and segmentation updates
- Help maintain database hygiene across multiple data sources
Reporting & Administrative Support
- Assist with updating existing reports and dashboards in Salesforce and HubSpot
- Support ad hoc data requests from marketing and sales teams
- Pull data exports and assist with basic data analysis tasks
- Monitor the marketing inbox and triage operational requests
Process Execution & Documentation
- Follow established workflows and standard operating procedures
- Document processes and update procedure guides as directed
- Assist with testing new workflows or system updates
- Support integration monitoring and flag issues for escalation
- Provide backup support for system administration tasks as needed
THE ESSENTIALS
- 0-2 years of experience in marketing operations, sales operations, data analysis, or a related role
- Exposure to Salesforce and HubSpot or similar CRM/marketing automation platforms
- Experience or strong interest in data management, data quality, and system optimization
- Exceptional attention to detail with commitment to data accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Process-oriented mindset with ability to follow established workflows
- Self-starter who is eager to learn and takes initiative
- Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across teams
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data manipulation
NICE TO HAVE
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce and HubSpot administration
- Background in financial services, compliance, or fintech industry
- Familiarity with 6sense, Qualified, or other marketing automation platforms
- Basic understanding of lead management and routing concepts
- Experience with data hygiene and deduplication processes
- Salesforce or HubSpot certifications

Compensation Information
Pursuant to state and local law disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience and location is $75,000 to $85,000 per year. This position may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance and is not guaranteed.
