We’re now looking for a German-speaking Senior Frontend Engineer to support our growth and join our Veterinary team! Reporting directly to the Team Leader, one of your main goal is to accelerate migration and adaptation of Vue3 frontend.

Your key responsibilities include:

    • Architect, build and test features in the new Vue 3 frontend for Provet Cloud

    • Work with backend engineers to define requirements for REST API endpoints

    • Create a great user experience with help from UX Designers and Product Managers

    • Review work of peers and provide feedback to other engineers

    • Ensure best practices are in use for all frontend developments

    • Help maintain a culture of empathy, safety and belonging where all voices are heard

    • Work together with our internal design system team to integrate and evolve Nord Design System

    • Build new user-facing features with beautiful and scalable UI components

    • Improve frontend performance

    • Work on accessibility best practices

What will help you to be successful in this role?

Ideally, you have already gained some experience from working in a fast growing, global SaaS company. We are looking for strong experience with Vue, Nuxt, and Typescript.

In addition, our humble wish list would be that you have:

    • Extensive experience with Vue (ideally Vue3) and Composition API

    • Extensive experience with Nuxt (ideally Nuxt3)

    • Extensive experience with Typescript.

    • Experience with automated frontend testing

    • Experience with design systems or Web Components

    • Experience with Python/Django is a big plus but not mandatory

    • Experience in building accessible services

    • Knowing a thing or two about DevOps and CI/CD

    • Full proficiency in both German and English
