The Intern of Cloud & Identity Security is responsible for supporting and administering global initiatives to secure enterprise identity and cloud environments. This role extends the IAM function by supporting Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) using SailPoint, assisting with Active Directory migration and governance, and implementing cloud security strategies across multi-cloud platforms. The position ensures compliance with regulatory standards, drives innovation in identity lifecycle management, and strengthens the organization’s security posture in alignment with enterprise cybersecurity objectives.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Identity Governance & Administration (IGA):

  • Deploy and manage SailPoint for identity lifecycle automation.
  • Integrate IGA with key systems on premise and cloud platforms.
  • Maintain compliance and audit readiness for regulations (SOX, GDPR, NIS2).
  • Automate access reviews and policy enforcement for efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align governance with business needs.

Cloud Security:

  • Manage identity and access controls for cloud-based resources, leveraging tools like Azure Active Directory and AWS IAM.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies across multi-cloud environments.
  • Integrate security considerations into cloud operations and development processes, including CI/CD pipelines for example AWS and Azure.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Align identity and cloud security programs with regulatory requirements (GDPR, NIS2, DORA, SOX).

• Support audit readiness and continuous monitoring of controls.

  • Bachelor’s degree in progress in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Understanding of SailPoint, Active Directory, and Azure AD; familiarity with Okta and Entra ID is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud security frameworks (CIS Benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Certifications such as SC-900, SC-300, AWS Cloud Practitioner are highly desirable.
