Junior Technical Writer

As part of a substantial content migration initiative, we are looking for someone with Junior Technical Writer skills to support our Knowledge Base content migration, conduct formatting, illustration and content review for external publication. This role gives you the opportunity to contribute to empowering our customers in making the most of our market leading Software-as-a-Solution offering, with interactive content, through online knowledge base and within our products.

Main objectives and responsibilities:

• Move content we choose to keep, from current source to target systems.
• Ensure the look and feel of the content in the target system is up to standard.
• Update screens across the page of content.
• Provide support in tagging articles for improved search and navigation.

Essential:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Excellent attention to detail and patience.
• Autonomous in driving your own work once aligned with team.
• Comfortable working in a very small team.
• Ready to leverage technologies to accelerate content creation.
• Understanding of the goals and use of a Knowledge Base.

Nice to have:

• experience with css and other html formatting tools
• understanding of Zendesk Guide
• understanding of taxonomy and importance of labelling
• some experience in one of the languages we want to translate

Duration: 3-6 weeks
Cooperation based on contract of mandate or B2B
