About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our virtual team as a Medicaid Application Submission Specialist. This role is critical in helping eligible individuals and families access healthcare coverage through accurate and efficient application processing.

Core Responsibilities

  • Process and submit Medicaid applications with 100% accuracy
  • Handle sensitive personal and health information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Meet daily application submission targets (minimum 15+ applications per day)
  • Verify and input complex applicant information including income, household composition, and eligibility factors
  • Document application status and updates across multiple platforms
  • Maintain organized records of all submissions and follow-ups
  • Use custom software tools for documentation and tracking
  • Follow established processes and procedures precisely

Required Qualifications

  • Exceptional attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors
  • Previous experience with form processing or application submission
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets or equivalent spreadsheet software
  • Strong data entry skills with emphasis on accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience working with sensitive personal information
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to meet productivity targets consistently
  • Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Should be able to work in the Central Time Zone in order to coordinate better with the current team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Medicaid or healthcare-related applications
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements
  • Background in healthcare administration or social services
  • Experience using multiple software platforms for documentation
  • Track record of maintaining high accuracy while meeting volume targets
