About the Role

We’re seeking freelance UX/UI Design Consultants to join our talent collective and support a range of clients across industries. This role is ideal for designers who can blend user-centered thinking with strong visual design to create intuitive, high-performing digital experiences.

Projects may include website and landing page design, product interface design, design system development, and conversion-focused UX improvements. Contract engagements typically range from 10–40 hours per week.


Responsibilities

  • Design intuitive and visually compelling user experiences across web and mobile

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to bring designs to life

  • Optimize user flows and interfaces to improve engagement and conversion

  • Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries

  • Translate business and user needs into effective design solutions

  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and performance data


Requirements

  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI design work across digital products or websites

  • Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar

  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices

  • Experience designing for responsive and mobile-first environments

  • Ability to balance usability, aesthetics, and business goals

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Comfort working across different industries, products, and audiences


Nice to Have

  • Experience with conversion-focused design or CRO principles

  • Familiarity with front-end development constraints (HTML, CSS, basic JS)

  • Experience in high-growth startup environments

  • Experience supporting both strategic planning and hands-on execution
