Role: The
Eplan Platform Trainer is responsible for transforming everyday users into platform experts, delivering high-impact instruction both virtually and in person. You will act as a technical guide and mentor, breaking down complex engineering scenarios and advanced Eplan workflows into digestible, actionable concepts. Your goal is to ensure each participant can seamlessly apply the Eplan platform and best practices to solve their real-world engineering challenges.
Primary Responsibilities: - Expert-Level Instruction: Conduct engaging, highly technical training sessions (virtual and in-person) for engineers, designers, and technical staff across the Eplan platform.
- Complex Problem Solving: Translate complex electrical engineering and automation concepts into clear, practical training modules.
- Comprehensive Coverage: Deliver basic, advanced, and highly customized, customer-specific training within the vast offering of Eplan solutions.
- Content Development: Create and modify robust training materials, including presentations, hands-on exercises, technical documentation, and video content for local usage.
- Real-World Application: Develop practical examples and case studies utilizing Eplan to simulate everyday engineering environments and enhance learning retention.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree. General education backgrounds without engineering experience will not be considered.
- Adapt to different learning techniques and skill levels to maximize understanding of the platform.
- 2+ years in technical training, professional services, and/or technical support preferred.
- Previous experience in Eplan (or similar Electrical CAD/CAE solution) preferred.
- Application skills, including Microsoft Office solutions. Ability to work with Adobe software for video content is preferred.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong communication, networking and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information: We will not sponsor applicants for work visas. Applicants must be authorized to work on an unrestricted basis. Hours: M-F. Must reside within the US and be willing to travel approximately 25%.
