We are looking for a skilled R Programmer with a passion for building interactive data applications using R Shiny. You enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, solving complex problems, and delivering high-quality, user-friendly tools that support clinical research and data analysis.

In this role, you will be fully embedded within one of our pharmaceutical clients, working closely with biostatisticians, data managers, and clinical teams. You’ll contribute to innovative data visualization and reporting tools that support real-world evidence and clinical trial analytics.

Position Overview

This is a full-time, remote position focused on developing and maintaining R Shiny applications. You will be responsible for writing clean, efficient R code, implementing back-end functionality, and ensuring the performance and usability of applications. Your work will directly support clinical research and regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain R Shiny applications for clinical and real-world data
  • Write, test, and optimize R code for performance and scalability
  • Collaborate with biostatisticians and data managers to define requirements
  • Implement back-end logic and data integration for interactive tools
  • Ensure application quality, usability, and documentation
  • Contribute to software development best practices and innovation

Requirements

  • Proficiency in R programming and object-oriented programming (OOP)
  • Experience with R Shiny and back-end web development
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Experience in healthcare or clinical research is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
