The Role
Veeva Systems is seeking a functional QA Engineer to join the Vault CRM team. This is a hands- on role responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our enterprise SaaS product.
What You’ll Do

Create and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports.

Document test execution results in the designated test case management application.

Conduct QA tests and verify outcomes according to project schedules and timelines.

Identify, document, and explain defects within the defect tracking system.

Collaborate with the automation group to increase regression coverage for new and existing features.

Acquire and maintain detailed knowledge of the product suite.

Work in an Agile team environment alongside software engineers and product managers.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a functional QA Engineer in the United States.

Proficiency in verbal and written communication.

Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.

Ability to operate within an Agile framework with a focus on efficiency and quality.

Comprehensive understanding of Software QA methodologies, including black box and grey box testing.

Experience writing test cases for sanity, boundary, negative, compatibility, and concurrency testing.

Technical knowledge of web, mobile, and desktop application testing.

Experience executing SQL database queries.

Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, or equivalent professional experience.

Must reside in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones.

Must have unrestricted right to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.

Nice to Have

Experience in a SaaS environment with Agile development processes.

Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and TestRail.

Compensation

Base pay: $70,000 - $120,000

The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
