As the Product Strategy Manager for LATAM, you will focus on anticipating and shaping upcoming developments in the region’s payments landscape. In this role, you will act as the primary bridge between customer needs and our engineering team, ensuring those insights translate into clear product opportunities. You will also collaborate closely with other Product Managers responsible for specific product lines to align roadmaps, prioritize features, and drive strategic impact across the LATAM market.
🟣 Your challenge at Yuno
• Lead cross-functional alignment between Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations to ensure customer requirements and market opportunities are translated into clear product priorities.
• Anticipate regulatory, competitive, and technological shifts in LATAM and convert them into strategic recommendations and product direction.
• Partner closely with product managers across streams to align roadmaps, remove redundancies, and ensure our product suite grows cohesively across all LATAM markets.
• Evaluate and structure complex payment requirements, ensuring Yuno stays ahead in Cards, alternative payment methods, orchestration, and merchant needs.
• Drive clarity and prioritization in highly ambiguous environments, ensuring that decisions are grounded in data, real customer demand, and feasibility.
• Identify gaps in product performance or regional compatibility and lead initiatives to close them quickly with Engineering and technical stakeholders.
• Develop frameworks that enhance our understanding of merchant needs, competitive positioning, and opportunity sizing across the region.
• Act as an internal subject-matter expert on LATAM payments, supporting teams with insights, benchmarking, best practices, and product deep dives.
🟣 Skills you need
Minimum Qualifications
• Full professional proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
• Proven product management background, with 5+ years of experience building or scaling products in the payments industry, with strong exposure to the LATAM market.
• Demonstrated expertise in Cards, APMs, merchant needs, and LATAM payment rails.
• Ability to translate complex customer and market requirements into strategic product decisions, working closely with engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and business-thinking skills, ideally with experience in strategy or consulting (Fintech experience is a strong plus).
