This is a remote Contract/Consultant position. Working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language. Position Overview In a fast paced, high expectation, results oriented environment, the Asset Resolution Analyst will be responsible for managing a portfolio of non-performing real estate collateralized commercial loans and REO. Core responsibilities include the development, implementation and monitoring (while working with outside counsel) of appropriate collection, loss mitigation and recovery strategies, weekly reporting and quarterly file analysis.Responsibilities:<ul> <li>Manage and monitor a non-performing real estate collateralized commercial loan portfolio, including REO, toward most effective and efficient resolution</li> <li>Conduct proactive and effective portfolio management in accordance with established performance standards </li> <li>Monitor and manage commercial litigation/bankruptcy/foreclosure activities, functions and deadlines</li> <li>Direct/monitor/liaise with in-house and outside attorneys, collection agencies and other vendors that support the loss mitigation effort</li> <li>Interact with customers and their counsel</li> <li>Negotiate and prepare settlement agreements</li> <li>Prepare bidding instructions</li> <li>Monitor loss mitigation workout performance and loss severity trends</li> <li>Implement and communicate loss mitigation decisions</li> <li>Maintain delinquency and loss mitigation reporting, including trend analysis and assessment</li> <li>Conduct comprehensive analysis of debtors' financial position, credit status, personal background, and historical payment performance</li> <li>Facilitate negotiation and conflict resolution</li> <li>Perform extensive quarterly review of portfolio being managed to confirm or reassess recovery estimates</li> <li>Monitor related expenses (taxes, maintenance, utilities, fees, etc.) and timely propose protective advances</li> <li>Assist in budget preparation for the Asset Resolution Department </li> <li>Other projects and duties as assigned</li> </ul>Requirements<ul> <li>Law degree (from a nationally accredited U.S. law school is preferred)</li> <li>Experience with Real State required.</li> </ul><ul> <li>Experience working in commercial litigation/bankruptcy/foreclosure/loss mitigation required.</li> <li>Strong organization, decision-making and negotiation skills</li> <li>Demonstrated analytical and reasoning skills, and innovative approach to solving both practical and theoretical problems</li> <li>Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications</li> <li>Strong work ethic with ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment</li> <li>You must have your own laptop or desktop to use (the company does not supply equipment)</li> <li>Excellent English fluency and communication skills, both written and verbal</li> </ul>Benefits<ul> <li>CONTRACT/CONSULTANCY POSITION</li> <li>Compensation DOE</li> <li>11 US Paid Holidays per year</li> </ul>
