We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our client's team, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely invoicing and payment processes.Key Responsibilities:<ol> <li>Invoice Management:</li> <ul> <li>Prepare and send invoices for client fees and legal fee reimbursements.</li> <li>Track and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment.</li> </ul> <li>Payment Processing:</li> <ul> <li>Record incoming payments and reconcile them with invoices.</li> <li>Accurately apply payments to the correct client accounts.</li> </ul> <li>Accounts Payable:</li> <ul> <li>Process payments for legal services rendered on behalf of clients.</li> <li>Track legal expenses and ensure correct billing to clients for reimbursement.</li> </ul> <li>Reconciliation and Reporting:</li> <ul> <li>Reconcile bank statements, client accounts, and vendor accounts.</li> <li>Generate monthly reports on accounts receivable, aged receivables, and payables.</li> </ul> <li>Record Keeping and Data Management:</li> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate records of all client transactions, including invoices, payments, and adjustments.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with financial record-keeping regulations.</li> </ul> <li>Communication:</li> <ul> <li>Liaise with clients to clarify invoices, fees, and payments.</li> <li>Collaborate with legal team members to understand billable expenses that need to be passed on to clients.</li> </ul> </ol>Requirements<ul><li>Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.</li></ul><ul> <li>Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliations.</li> <li>Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple client accounts and deadlines efficiently.</li> <li>Analytical skills to assess client accounts, identify discrepancies, and suggest improvements.</li> <li>Strong communication and customer service skills to interact with clients and resolve billing-related inquiries.</li> <li>Basic accounting knowledge, including an understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger reconciliation.</li> <li>Commitment to confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive client information.</li> </ul>BenefitsSalary: $5 - $6 / hr Schedule:&nbsp;EST
