Business Intelligence AnalystLocation: Home BasedWe have an exciting opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our established IT team. Based from home you’ll primarily be responsible for designing and building the data logic, data models and interfaces for Qlik dashboards whilst maintaining the currents suite of Qlik applications and automated reports.The Company:<ul> <li>Come join Alexander Dennis. We have a vast amount of data at our disposal, all of which needs to be mined, analysed and acted upon if we are to achieve our growth plans.</li> <li>As the Business Intelligence Analyst in the BI team, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our data into one of our biggest assets, getting involved with all departments to add real value to our business.</li> <li>You will be responsible for performing development activities from gathering requirements and designing solutions, through developing code and reports, to testing and release.</li> <li>You will design and build the data logic, data models and interfaces for Qlik dashboards, providing a scalable and reusable solution.</li> <li>Successful collaboration with end users and stakeholders to add value to their reporting will be key.</li> <li>You will highlight issues with data cleansing and validity and develop processes to rectify these going forward.</li> <li>Ultimately you will produce clear and effective dashboards and automated reports that connect the business and provide one version of the truth.</li> <li>A full list of roles and responsibilities is at the end of this advert.</li> </ul>&nbsp;What you will bring: <ul> <li>It’s a technically challenging position, so it’s essential that you are able to demonstrate success in a similar role as defined in this advert, with at least 1 years’ experience using QlikView, Qlik Sense or a similar dashboarding tool, as well as NPrinting or a similar automated reporting tool.</li> <li>You will have strong data acquisition, manipulation and analysis skills, with good SQL and ETL knowledge.</li> <li>You will have the ability to uncover new data insight and pursue this to realise business benefits.</li> <li>Ideally you will have prior working knowledge of ERP systems with Syspro as the preferred background.</li> <li>You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be comfortable influencing at all levels of the business.</li> <li>Finally, you will have a high attention to detail as well as the ability to think outside the box, not being afraid to challenge the norm where appropriate.</li> </ul>&nbsp;Next steps:If this sounds like you, and you’re interested in coming ‘aboard’, then we would love to hear from you.
