We are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect to join our Solution Engineering Center team here at Vendavo.\n THE OPPORTUNITY<ul><li>A key member of Vendavo’s Solution Engineering Center who assists existing Vendavo customers with current technical challenges and future enhancements.</li><li>Take a leadership role in resolving high-priority customer challenges by analysing the current situation and directing the customer and internal teams on optimal resolutions (short-term mitigation and optimal long-term solution).</li><li>Closely integrate with Customer Operations technical teams to determine, document, and train best practices related to configuration, code, design, deployment, and functional solutions.</li><li>Provide best-practice feedback and training to Services teams (SAs and Solution Engineering teams).</li><li>Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product Management teams on solving core product issues.</li><li>Guide customers and internal teams on integration issues, whether between the customer and Vendavo or directly between Vendavo products.</li><li>Understand new products, tools, and technology used within Vendavo by Engineering or other groups and spread the knowledge across the community.</li><li>Assist AMS and Steady-State teams (when needed) to provide feedback on current deployment situations and guidance on optimal longer-term design.</li><li>Support Migration and Upgrade projects as a technical lead, providing direction and risk mitigation strategies for the internal team and coordinating with the customer IT group.</li></ul> THE SKILL SET<ul><li>10+ years of technical experience working with software applications, databases, and enterprise systems.</li><li>Work in accordance with good DevOps practices.</li><li>Proficiency in SQL and data modelling. Orientation in DBMS (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL)</li><li>Debugging and solving integration challenges between multiple enterprise systems</li><li>Knowing basic architectural principles of Node JS, JavaScript, Python, Talend and web applications.</li><li>Knowing standard data integration techniques – SFTP, REST API calls, Web Services</li><li>Basic knowledge of enterprise SSO technologies and principles (SAML2, OAuth2)</li><li>Strong knowledge of at least one Vendavo platform (EPS, VPP, CPQ, RCM, or IC)</li><li>The base level of Business/Pricing Knowledge</li><li>Knowledge of Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud is an added advantage.</li><li>Knowledge of Source Code Management (SCM) - Git, GitHub, BitBucket, Azure DevOps</li><li>Understands CI technologies (Jenkins, RunDeck, Azure Pipelines) and their application to the delivery process</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills, whether technical or process/delivery</li><li>Ownership perspective to work through roadblocks to achieve resolution/goal</li><li>Strong collaboration skills to listen, advocate, compromise, and determine win-win solutions</li><li>Ability to plan and coordinate multi-step resolution paths</li><li>Comfortable discussing and advocating best practice solutions with internal and customer IT leaders</li><li>Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.</li><li>Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in an IT or technical discipline.</li><li>Good English communication, ability to efficiently interact with clients and team</li><li>Clean code and architecture-oriented enthusiast</li><li>Team / Goal / Quality-oriented</li><li>Good architectural knowledge of multiple technologies</li></ul> THE BENEFITS<ul><li>Fully remote based with the flexibility to work from anywhere in India.</li><li>Professional growth and Development opportunities.</li><li>Working within a team of friendly, skilled people where help is always within reach</li><li>Flexible working hours</li><li>4 recharge days, where the entire company goes on a brief pause in all geographies for 1 day each quarter.
