Authentic Campaigns is seeking a Digital Strategist to join our growing Paid Media Department.
The Digital Strategist will run point on leading a book of select clients, working independently to meet client needs with some assistance from management - to run digital programs that meet our award-winning standard.
The ideal candidate will have transferable experience from a similar position or a position in a different industry or speciality. 
This position pays a fixed starting salary of $65,000 annually, per our company’s transparent employee compensation, with opportunities to earn raises up to 6% during regular evaluation processes every year. Responsibilities
<ul><li>Develop, set, and execute digital advertising strategy for our clients to meet their goals</li><li>Brainstorm and develop creative ideas for our clients, write, fact-check, and proofread content before it goes out</li><li>Set up ads in Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, and other advertising platforms as needed</li><li>Help liaise between the client and the data team for purchases of email lists</li><li>Respond to topics in real-time by assisting in drafting ads in response to news stories that are breaking fast</li><li>Lead on relevant client communications</li><li>Contribute to a collaborative culture that helps improve our work product</li><li>Work with designers, email strategists, and vendor partners to meet your client's needs as necessary</li><li>Ensure all content is rooted in the authentic and honest voice of the client, and that each program is unique, relevant, and timely</li><li>Produce professional memos and maintain internal and external reporting</li><li>Respond to topics in real-time by assisting in drafting ads in response to news stories that are breaking fast</li><li>Oversee a book of client accounts</li><li>Be on top of digital trends and new tools, so we can make cutting-edge recommendations to our clients based on best practices</li><li>Act as the advertising lead for large clients and work alongside client leads, managers, and other departments to produce advertising strategies that maximize results for our clients across the board</li><li>Tailor ad strategies to the unique needs of each client and circumstance. Think outside the box to rely less on traditional methods and look to innovate.</li><li>Work with designers, email strategists, and vendor partners to meet your client's needs as necessary</li><li>Perform other duties as needed</li></ul><ul></ul><ul></ul> Qualifications:
<ul></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of the issues and a passion for electing Democratic candidates and advancing the progressive movement</li><li>Transferable experience from a previous role or a short period in a similar position</li><li>Experience working in advertising platforms like Facebook and Google Ads and CRMs like NGP and ActionKit</li><li>Demonstrated experience of creating and setting strategy for a client</li><li>Proven effective written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure, and meet tight deadlines</li><li>Experience in stakeholder or client management, copywriting, and digital ad campaigns</li><li>Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Google Sheet/Microsoft Excel</li><li>Able to work extended hours when needed/for rapid response moments</li><li>Eager to learn and self-educate</li><li>Committed to getting things right – pays close attention to detail and doesn’t stop trying</li><li>Support for progressive values and commitment to building a safe and diverse workplace where people from all walks of life can contribute and advance the movement</li></ul>

<ul><li>Work environment: This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers.</li><li>Physical Demands: This is a largely sedentary role. The ability to look at screens for extended periods of time is required.</li></ul>
