The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the documentation lifecycle within different departments, setting documentation standards and templates, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient document management processes. The Documentation Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of documentation, facilitating collaboration among team members, and supporting the organization's commitment to excellence in IT service delivery.&#160;Reporting Structure<ul><li>This job reports to the CEO.&#160;</li></ul>Job ResponsibilitiesDocument Management<ul><li>Develop and implement effective document control processes and procedures within the departments.&#160;</li><li>Develop and incorporate standardized templates&#160;</li><li>Oversee the creation, review, revision, and distribution of documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.&#160;</li><li>Maintain a centralized document repository, organizing files in a systematic and easily accessible manner.&#160;</li></ul>Quality Assurance<ul><li>Conduct regular audits of documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established standards.&#160;</li><li>Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address discrepancies, resolve issues, and improve overall document quality.&#160;</li></ul>Collaboration and Communication<ul><li>Facilitate communication and collaboration among teams by ensuring timely access to relevant documentation.&#160;</li><li>Work closely with project managers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to capture and document essential information.&#160;</li></ul>Training and Awareness<ul><li>Develop and deliver training programs to educate IT personnel on document control best practices, standards, and tools.&#160;</li><li>Promote awareness of the importance of accurate and up-to-date documentation within the IT organization.&#160;</li></ul>Continuous Improvement<ul><li>Stay on top of industry best practices and emerging trends in document control and information management.&#160;</li><li>Propose and implement improvements to streamline document management processes and enhance overall efficiency.&#160;</li></ul>Job Requirements<h2>Educational Qualification</h2><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field.&#160;</li></ul><h2>Previous Work Experience</h2><ul><li>5 to 7 years of overall experience with proven track record as a Document Controller in relevant industries.&#160;</li></ul><h2>Skills and Abilities</h2><ul><li>High degree of proficiency in MS Office.</li><li>Familiarity with document control standards and best practices.&#160;</li><li>Strong knowledge of document management systems and tools.&#160;</li><li>Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.&#160;</li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills.&#160;</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.&#160;</li></ul><h1 style="margin-top:16px;margin-left:8px;">About iHorizons</h1>iHorizons is a leading provider of business solutions and technology services in the Arab World.
