This position will manage file transformations through traditional mapping techniques and with the ASH Gateway tool. This role supports delivery of client and internal reporting including X12 transactions and monitors jobs tied to key reporting, mapping, and file delivery processes. This remote/WFH position requires you have a stable connection to your Internet Service Provider with the ability to participate by video in online meetings over a reliable and consistent network (minimum internet download of 50 Mbps and 10 Mbps upload speed).  </div>Responsibilities<ul><li style="font-size: 10.0pt;font-family: sans-serif , arial , helvetica;">Maintains existing and develops new mapping across a variety of file types, manages inbound file/data processing, develops new files/reports.</li><li style="font-size: 10.0pt;font-family: sans-serif , arial , helvetica;">Supports development on a range of EDI transactions including enrollment, benefits, claims, and financial transactions.</li><li style="font-size: 10.0pt;font-family: sans-serif , arial , helvetica;">Independently develops mapping and translations between data elements for file feeds.</li><li style="font-size: 10.0pt;font-family: sans-serif , arial , helvetica;">Contributes to the implementation of EDI connections between client and ASH; may assume a lead engineer role for implementations and demonstrates ownership on workloads in production by evaluating error identification/resolution opportunities, continuous improvement, and proactive communication with the trading partners and/or customers to reduce/prevent errors.</li><li style="font-size: 10.0pt;font-family: sans-serif , arial , helvetica;">Creates and/or maintains appropriate systems and process documentation.</li><li style="font-size: 10.0pt;font-family: sans-serif , arial , helvetica;">Assists in defining application and/or process enhancements and upgrades.</li><li style="font-size: 10.0pt;font-family: sans-serif , arial , helvetica;">Supports testing effort by engaging with user acceptance testing (UAT) and assisting in defect resolution.</li><li style="font-size: 10.0pt;font-family: sans-serif , arial , helvetica;">Develops and debugs SQL reports.</li><li style="font-size: 10.0pt;font-family: sans-serif , arial , helvetica;">Executes, monitors, and works with more senior engineers to automate routine EDI jobs.</li><li style="font-size: 10.0pt;font-family: sans-serif , arial , helvetica;">Maintains understanding of general business logic for areas with which the role is most commonly working.</li><li style="font-size: 10.0pt;font-family: sans-serif , arial , helvetica;">Recommends possible improvements in applications.</li><li style="font-size: 10.0pt;font-family: sans-serif , arial , helvetica;">Work independently with minimal supervision.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li style="font-size: 10.0pt;font-family: sans-serif , arial , helvetica;">Bachelor’s degree in information systems or business degree or equivalent experience.
