Come build with us!<h1>The role</h1>As a FCC investigator, your mandate is to protect the safety of our customers by implementing the procedures and controls we have in place. This role will impact ONE’s vision by fundamentally assisting in the development of a durable program, and the effectiveness of our financial crime compliance program. You will work closely with the Risk and Fraud team(s) working on daily monitoring and taking action on suspicious transaction alerts, and using strong investigative and analytical skills to decision alerts and escalate them as appropriate. This role reports to the FCC program manager.This role is responsible for: <ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Performing investigation to identify financial crime typologies</li><li>Monitoring of sanctions and PEP screening alerts</li><li>Drafting suspicious transaction reports</li><li>Providing advice and analysis of observed ML/TF typologies and trends to identify potential areas of risk</li><li>Perform quality control reviews of sanctions and suspicious transactions alerts and reports</li><li>Participating in transaction monitoring system tuning tests</li><li>Additional duties as assigned by your manager</li></ul><h1>You bring</h1><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>4+ years of experience </li><li>An act-like-an-owner mentality. We have a bias toward taking action.</li><li>Strong investigations experience with the ability to tie disparate red flags and to effectively document conclusive results</li><li>Past experiences implementing BSA/AML program improvements a plus</li><li>Ability to synthesize transactional behavior through different views of the transaction data set (e.g. chronological and pivoted summary data) </li><li>Self-starter, able to anticipate management needs, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment  </li><li>Meticulously organized with the ability to successfully manage disparate assignments in parallel</li><li>Results-oriented and analytical, with the ability to work independently and adaptively, anticipate and mitigate friction points, and take action to promptly resolve and learn from challenges </li><li>Ability to work closely and communicate effectively with colleagues in all functions at all levels who are working remotely </li><li>Skilled in both written and verbal communications with all levels of an organization </li><li>CAMS or current candidacy a plus</li></ul><h1>Leveling Philosophy</h1>In order to thoughtfully scale the company and avoid downstream inequities, we’ve adopted a flat titling structure at ONE. Though we may occasionally post a role externally with a prefix such as “Senior” to reflect the external level of the position, we do not use prefixes in titles like that internally unless in a position which manages a team. Internal titles typically include your specific functional responsibility, such as engineering, product management or sales, and often include additional descriptors to ensure clarity of role and placement within our organization (i.e. “Engineer, Platform”, “Sales, Business Development” or “Manager, Talent”).
