The Role:
Are you experienced supporting a global workforce? Do you have strong attention to detail and experience running payroll for both direct hires and hires through EORs? Do you like working beyond payroll, providing reports and supporting the departments data needs? Do you like working with a great people team? If so, this role is for you. 
As Global Payroll Manager, you are expected to: 
<ul><li>Be the contact person for internal and external stakeholders, specifically around payroll-related topics</li><li>Identify and recommend improvements to ensure an effective and efficient payroll process for each entity, each working in partnership with external payroll providers. </li><li>Remain up to date about legislative requirements in each of our jurisdictions. </li><li>Manage the relationship with payroll suppliers and other third parties to hold them accountable for the delivery of service against our S.L.A.s</li><li>Maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions</li><li>Respond to queries from employees regarding their payroll-related questions, ensuring timely resolution</li><li>Management of payroll-related benefits</li></ul>
Success in this role means:
<ul><li>Smoothly running payroll across Raketech</li><li>Compliance in all legislated matters regarding pay and benefits</li><li>Data accuracy and timely reporting as required</li></ul>
 <ul><li>5-10 years of global payroll experience</li><li> International payroll experience, preferably in Portugal, Spain, Malta or the United States </li><li>Strong knowledge of Excel and an affinity for new systems and tools</li><li>Able to communicate effectively in English </li><li>Knowledge of GDPR requirements and their application to payroll processing and the management of employee data</li><li>Strong stakeholder management experience, including the management of external payroll and benefits providers</li></ul>
