Head of Data Protection & IP will own, define and execute data protection and intellectual property strategy, vision and goals - ensuring we adhere to the privacy laws and uphold market best practices. What Will You Do:
<ul><li>Grow our Data Protection & IP function</li><li>Focus on the big picture – strategic issues, growth drivers, industry and market trends</li><li>Educate all teams on all matters related to data protection & IP</li><li>Stay on top of regulatory requirements, case law and market practice while keeping all the stakeholders in the loop</li></ul>
Key Requirements For This Role:
<ul><li>6+ years of experience in a corporate, international setting focusing on Data Protection & IP</li><li>3+ years in a Senior role</li><li>Degree from top tier law school</li><li>CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, FIP, HCISPP certifications</li><li>Working knowledge of privacy regulations and familiarity with IP practices in the US/EU/UK</li><li>Working knowledge of privacy regulations of key strategic partners like Apple, Google, Meta, TikTok, Twitter</li><li>Fluent English communication skills</li><li>Ability to transform complex legal issues into plain business solutions</li></ul>
