What will you be doing at DeepL? 
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Knowledge Management Specialist to join our dynamic GTM department. As a Knowledge Management Specialist focused on our billing and subscription systems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our Sales, Customer Success, and Customer Support teams have quick and easy access to accurate and up-to-date information about these systems and related processes. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with the Product Management and Engineering teams as well as other GTM teams. Your expertise in content creation and knowledge sharing will be instrumental in streamlining internal documentation, enablement and communication, enhancing employee productivity. The scope of the role may broaden over time, as DeepL expands and our internal tools, products and processes evolve. Your responsibilities 
<ul><li>Develop a strong understanding of our billing and subscription systems </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify needs of our Sales, Customer Support, and Customer Success teams related to the payment and subscription tooling and processes</li><li>Act as the first point of contact for internal teams seeking support or clarification on billing and subscription tooling and processes</li><li>Provide timely and efficient responses to inquiries, escalating trouble shooting and complex problems to relevant stakeholders</li><li>Create and maintain high quality, up-to-date and easily accessible internal knowledge base content about our payment and subscription systems, including how to guides, best practices and training materials</li><li>Deliver knowledge-sharing sessions about our payment and subscription tools</li><li>Regularly assess the performance of existing documentation and training resources to identify knowledge gaps and deflect internal inquires</li><li>Work closely with internal teams to gather feedback and insights that can inform improvements in our payment and subscription systems</li></ul>

Qualities we look for 

<ul><li>Thorough knowledge of Chargebee platform with willingness to train less experienced users</li><li>Relevant work experience with other billing and subscription systems (like Zuora or Netsuite) in a sales and customer-focused environment</li><li>Experience in creating content for internal knowledge sharing, such as articles and training materials </li><li>Strong presentation skills (verbal and written) and the ability to train, motivate and empower others </li><li>Strong analytic skills </li><li>Hands-on and proactive in testing our billing and subscription systems, including more technical aspects </li><li>A collaborative working style with experience of working effectively with internal customers </li><li>Good project management skills </li><li>People, documentation, data and process orientation</li><li>It would be a bonus if you had:<ul><li>Knowledge of home-built billing and subscription systems and the migration process from home-built to off-the-shelf systems</li><li>Broader knowledge of back office tooling </li></ul></li></ul>
