<h2>The opportunity</h2>
Mood has been scaling rapidly. So far, we’ve worked closely with agencies but are spending more than 6 figures a day. Both our co-founders are experienced media buyers and we now have the capacity to move our media buying in-house, scale it significantly, and make this a truly world-class function.
We are looking for a lead media buyer to report directly to our co-founder Jake and transition Meta and YouTube media buying in-house and develop new channels. You’ll be involved in all stages of media buying, from creating the overall strategy, testing new channels, directing the creative, running the ads, tracking results and rapidly responding to data. You’ll also advise on building up the team around you.
We don’t organize meetings on the weekends or in anti-social hours, but as we are an early stage startup raw hours do matter. We are looking for someone that would launch new creative at 10pm to get the best results if that was what they thought was needed.
<h2>About you</h2>
Many of the best media buyers come from non-traditional backgrounds. If you don’t quite tick all the boxes apply any way. We love working with exceptional people.
Requirements:
<ul> <li>Significant experience with media buying (3+ years)</li> <li>Managed $1m+/month on Meta advertising for a single brand</li> <li>Can lead the creation of high-performing creative: you know what works and why</li> <li>Deeply understands analytics and attribution: you can diagnose what’s not working and come up with a plan to fix it</li> <li>Obsessed with media buying and is constantly looking to stay updated on new opportunities and best practices</li> </ul>
Nice to have:
<ul> <li>Managed $50k+/month on YouTube advertising for a single brand</li> <li>Experience scaling native advertisement (e.g. Taboola)</li> <li>Can build out new conversion funnels - including landing pages, attribution tracking, and implementing pixels</li> <li>Basic HTML/Javascript</li> </ul>
<h2>Salary and Benefits</h2>
The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $150,000 per year
