Browser-based games and dapps are supported too, and receive graphics card acceleration and our overlay when played through the HyperPlay app.<h2>This Opportunity:</h2>We are seeking a skilled and experienced engineer to work with our live-ops and engineering teams to create compelling in-game quest experiences by designing and implementing robust API connections to gaming partners. The Live Ops &amp; Support Engineer will work directly with gaming partners to collect technical requirements and build solid, tested API integrations to track in-game actions. They will also help debug and resolve support issues related to quest integrations, rewards, and, occasionally, broader platform functionalities.<h2>Responsibilities:</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Build and maintain scalable, secure API connections to track in-game actions within partner games.</li><li>Integrate API connections into our platform’s questing and rewards backend services.</li><li>Help productize our in-game integrations by building reusable tools for API setups.</li><li>Collaborate with gaming partners to gather requirements and create technical documentation.</li><li>Test API integrations and quest functionalities, providing feedback to partners and internal stakeholders.</li><li>Ensure timely delivery of integrations in collaboration with the product and quest teams.</li><li>Work with the support team to debug and help fix any quest-related issues.</li><li>Work with the support team to debug and help fix occasional platform-related issues.</li></ul><h2>Experience</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field (e.g. programming, computer science).</li><li>Strong proficiency in building scalable APIs in Node.js and GraphQL.</li><li>Familiarity with blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, zkSync, Arbitrum etc.) and event indexing tools like the Graph Protocol or Moonstream.</li><li>Highly organized with great attention to detail.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.</li></ul>If you think you have valuable experience to bring to the organization, but don’t necessarily meet all of the criteria for the role, we still want to hear from you.
