There’s never been a more exciting time to join Deel — the international payroll and compliance market leader.What you'll do:<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Lead and manage a team of payroll specialists, providing direction and support to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing</li><li>Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other teams to ensure alignment and accuracy of employee data and payroll-related accounting transactions</li><li>Develop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies</li><li>Monitor and analyze payroll data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and implement process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency</li><li>Develop and deliver payroll-related training and communications to ensure payroll-related policies and procedures are communicated effectively across the organization</li><li>Serve as a subject matter expert on payroll-related matters, providing guidance and support to other teams as needed</li><li>Maintain relationships with external payroll vendors and tax authorities, ensuring timely and accurate filing of payroll-related reports and payments</li><li>Manage the performance and development of the payroll team, providing feedback and coaching to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles</li><li>Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement payroll-related strategies and initiatives</li></ul>Key Qualifications:<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution</li><li>10+ years of experience managing payroll functions for multiple entities and countries</li><li>Strong working knowledge of local regulations and policies related to payroll and HR</li><li>Experience managing a team and driving process improvements</li><li>Advanced knowledge of local payroll software solutions</li><li>Experience with implementation of new payrolls on an industry-recognized payroll solution is preferred</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to different audiences</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Ability to work independently and prioritize competing demands</li></ul>Total RewardsOur workforce deserves fair and competitive pay that meets them where they are.
