At the foundation of how they approach work should be excellence in client delivery.&#160; This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and experienced subject matter expert to help grow a multidisciplinary service. Position Summary: This expert will be capable of enhancing and expanding existing business, elevating service and revenue to new heights, and attracting new clients. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:<ul><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Support the Business Unit Lead in providing high quality, timely, and profitable delivery of the US Recovery project portfolio</li><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Develop, influence and implement a US Recovery market strategy, utilizing Tidal Basin&#8217;s national teams and capabilities</li><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Support the BUL by providing recommendations and guidance on a portfolio of projects or programs of significant size, complexity, and significant financial impact</li><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Help grow the Recovery planning, design, grants management, and consulting practice</li><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Work closely and collaboratively with the BULs and Growth Team to share resources, augment capabilities, and bring the best of Tidal Basin to each and every project</li><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Support disaster recovery projects by providing expertise and guidance</li><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Support the BUL in identifying new staff for hiring and cross-train existing staff to deliver disaster recovery projects, fostering a culture of trust, accountability, leadership, and ownership within the organization</li><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Support growth of existing clients in partnership with Federal and Consulting &amp; Technology BULs </li><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Participate in and help drive innovative workstreams to differentiate Tidal Basin and address market changes, challenges, and opportunities </li><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Support production of winning proposals (both technical and cost)</li><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Prepare and lead client presentations and interviews</li><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Support the refinement of existing delivery strategies to improve predictability, quality, and efficiency</li><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Build US relationships with senior leaders at Federal, State, Local, Territorial, Tribal and commercial entities alongside the Growth Team and BULs</li><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Attract and secure new mitigation clients and build the opportunity pipeline alongside the Growth Team and BULs</li><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Travel as needed to support project, client, and team needs (Estimate 50% of time)</li><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Provide thought leadership ideas internally and externally</li><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and mentor for Disaster Recovery projects across the organization</li></ul></div> Skills and Desired Competencies:&#160;<ul><li class="paragraph">Deep understanding of project management and consulting service model.&#160;</li><li class="paragraph">Deep experience in all facets of Disaster Recovery including but not limited to federal grant and reimbursement programs from FEMA, HUD, USDA, SBA and others.</li><li class="paragraph">Experience working to deploy solutions to support clients in project and program management in one of the Tidal Basin Service Lines (Public Assistance, Response, Preparedness, Housing, Financial and Program Management, Mitigation, Resilience, Customer Service Centers).&#160;</li><li class="paragraph">Provide strong, dynamic leadership that mentors, develops, and guides team members, staff, and client relationships.&#160;</li><li class="paragraph">Excellent oral, written, organizational, and time management skills, with ability to multi-task and work with minimal or no supervision.&#160;</li><li class="paragraph">Experience working with federal grant-funded programs&#8239;&#160;</li><li class="paragraph">Excellent client relations and an understanding of local, state, and federal government</li></ul><div style="border:solid #e5e7eb 1pt;padding:0in 0in 0in 0in;"></div>Required Education &amp; Experience<div style="border:solid #e5e7eb 1pt;padding:0in 0in 0in 0in;"><ul><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Bachelor&#8217;s degree in emergency management, Planning, Engineering/Architecture, Environmental, Finance or related degree.&#160; Master&#8217;s Degree preferred.</li><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">15 years of progressively increasing responsibility and experience delivering mitigation projects and programs at the Federal, State, Local, Tribal or Territorial Levels</li><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Licensure in Field of Study (i.e. CEM, AICP, PE, AIA, CPA)</li><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Project Management Professional (PMP)</li><li style="border:none;padding:0in;">Experience leading diverse technical and geographic teams</li></ul></div> &#160;All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
