Our client is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support payroll processing, expense management, and payroll compliance. This position will assist in processing payroll for Sailormen, manage the payroll for a smaller USL OPCO entity, and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. The Payroll Analyst will also assist with payroll deductions, resolve discrepancies, and handle year-end activities such as W-2 preparation.<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul> <li> Expense Processing: Process employee expenses in Paycom.</li> <li> Payroll Management Support: Assist in managing payroll processes for Sailormen.</li> <li> ADP Pay Card Processing: Help with the administration of ADP Pay Cards for Sailormen employees.</li> <li> USL OPCO Payroll: Lead payroll processing for the USL OPCO entity, which includes fewer than 40 units.</li> <li> Payroll Deductions: Calculate and process payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments.</li> <li> Compliance: Ensure that payroll operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations.</li> <li> Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare necessary reports.</li> <li> Year-End Payroll: Assist in year-end activities such as W-2 preparation and distribution.</li> <li> Discrepancy Resolution: Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee payroll queries.</li> <li> Direct Deposits &amp; Payroll Checks: Process direct deposits and manual payroll checks as needed.</li> <li> HR Coordination: Work closely with the HR department for new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments.</li> </ul>Requirements<ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li> <li>2+ years of experience in payroll processing or a related role.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of Paycom and ADP payroll systems.</li> <li>Experience in multi-state payroll processing and compliance.</li> <li>Familiarity with payroll deductions, payroll tax laws, and year-end payroll reporting.</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.</li> <li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.</li> </ul>Benefits<ul><li>Client Relationship: You will be directly working with the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you.</li> <li>Vacation Leaves and Holidays: While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client.
