<h2>Job Description</h2>
We are seeking someone with broad experience in embedded hardware development to work with our team but ultimately take ownership over the schematic and PCB design updates required for our existing implementation of a carrier board design for a well-supported / documented, ARM-based System On Module - taking it from requirements validation through to schematic capture, PCB layout and working remotely or onsite with our team as needed to validate the assembled PCBs.
Responsibilities 
<ul><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define PCB design requirements</li><li>Create and maintain detailed schematics, layouts, and assembly drawings for PCBs</li><li>Utilize PCB design software to develop and optimize PCB layouts</li><li>Ensure designs meet industry standards, compliance, and quality expectations</li><li>Work closely with engineers to implement design changes and improvements</li><li>Perform design validation, simulation, and testing as needed to identify and rectify potential issues</li><li>Contribute to design documentation and provide support for PCB fabrication and assembly (BOM, gerber files, etc)</li></ul>
Requirements 
<ul><li>Proven experience as a PCB Designer with a strong portfolio of successful PCB designs.</li><li>Proficiency using Altium PCB design software and the ability to use your own copy of that software</li><li>Solid understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes.</li><li>Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.</li><li>Detail-oriented and a commitment to producing high-quality work.</li></ul>
