Burkland's People Partner position is an excellent opportunity for HR/People Operations professionals interested in consulting. In this role, you will collaborate with high-growth startups, supporting CEOs and founders in shaping their company culture. You will be responsible for creating a strong People Operations framework to sustain rapidly scaling organizations while strengthening the startup's core values and cultural identity. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who is eager to contribute to the success of our innovative startup clients.Your Typical, Atypical, Day<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>As a Burkland People Partner, you will be introduced to clients, and work alongside them to build their business.</li><li>You will gain a deep understanding of clients’ business goals and people, and act as a trusted people partner.</li><li>You will lead and coordinate the implementation of systems and programs that are needed when building a People Organization from the ground up.</li><li>You will have the opportunity to work on strategic programs like designing talent branding, talent acquisition, building culture, DEI/DEIB programming, evaluating and identifying total rewards packages, and working through employee relations issues.</li><li>You will advise leaders on organizational development, training development, resource planning, policy, and risk management.</li></ul><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>You will act as a partner to the CEO and other members of the client’s team providing insight, innovative ideas, and data-driven solutions on critical HR issues including People, Talent, Culture, and Internal Communication.</li><li>You will establish the channels for and cadence of communications to inform, engage, connect, and inspire the client’s employee base. </li><li>You may draft, publish, and present policies, procedures, and best practices that amplify the client’s mission, vision, goals, and culture.</li></ul><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Establish and continuously evolve scalable and progressive processes to improve onboarding, organizational effectiveness, employee development, and engagement.</li><li>Design competitive, fair, and equitable compensation structures and benefits to support the client’s compensation philosophy while attracting and retaining great people.</li></ul><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Automate processes and leverage best-in-class technology to scale the People functions and programs to drive engagement and efficiencies. </li></ul>About You<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Experience as a Sr. People Ops Generalist or People Business Partner in a growth company and/or startup. </li><li>Ability to self-organize and manage projects.</li><li>Driven and resourceful, with a keen interest in advanced analysis, and research, and comfort in presenting in front of Executive Leadership, Boards, and contributors at all levels.</li><li>Dexterity to juggle multiple clients, projects, and deadlines in an organized and timely fashion.</li><li>The ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines both within and outside your direct control of influence.</li><li>Aptitude to evaluate and implement new technologies and nimbleness to easily adapt to clients’ business stack and People Ops stack.</li><li>Merger/ Acquisition or IPO experience is a plus.</li><li>Prior consulting experience is preferred but not required if you have supported a complex matrix organization.</li><li>Clear and inspiring communicator,, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence people at all levels internally and externally.</li></ul>What We Offer<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Flexible work schedule to promote a healthy work-life balance.</li></ul><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Forget the commute! Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors such as candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data. In addition, full-time regular positions are eligible for, 401(k), health benefits, and other benefits; some of these benefits may be available for part-time.
