The ideal candidate is someone who has a fundamental knowledge of accounting principles and or finance and budgeting, and has worked in project or traditional government account for 3-5 years.We are looking for someone who has great attention to detail, willingness to learn new concepts, and have regular verbal communication with project managers. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or protected veteran status and will not be discriminated against on the basis of disability.Requirements<ul> <li>3-8 years of experience in finance or budgeting. </li> <li>3-5 years of DoD project accounting experience. </li> <li>Affinity for finance and or math-related fields. </li> <li>Strong communication skills. </li> </ul>Computer Programs/Software Experience:<ul> <li>Microsoft Suite - particularly Excel. </li> <li>Jamis Prime is a huge plus but is not required. </li> <li>Power BI a plus. </li> </ul>Education Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, or similar field of study.</li></ul>Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):<ul> <li>Project billing.</li> <li>Project accounting and financial analysis.</li> <li>Subcontractor invoicing management.</li> <li>Revenue analysis.</li> <li>Project setup and management.</li> <li>Communications and coordination with PMs and Contracts.</li> </ul>Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 annually.
