The role is restricted to those physically located in Europe, while this is a remote position, we cannot consider candidates that are not based in such region. Preference will be given to candidates based in Portugal, Spain or Malta.

<div>We are looking for an enthusiastic fast-learning and dynamic quality assurance engineer to help us build our quality assurance process in the software development lifecycle of our products. The ideal candidate has experience in working with developers, product managers and devops to ensure that the release of new features and the launch of new products satisfy our quality standards and expected functional behaviors.</div>
<div>You’ll be the quality advocate within your team, promoting the adoption of a quality mindset and test pyramid principles, and while supporting product releases with manual user acceptance, regression and exploratory testing, you’ll also contribute to establishing and increasing automated test coverage for frontend, mobile and API.</div>

*As a QA Engineer you are expected to … 
<ul><li>Design, develop and execute test automation scripts.</li><li>Conduct automated user acceptance, regression, and exploratory testing.</li><li>Identify, document, and track bugs efficiently, while collaborating with engineering teams for resolution.</li><li>Create detailed, comprehensive, and structured test plans and cases tailored for automation.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., developers, product managers) to understand and document system requirements for automated testing.</li><li>Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.</li><li>Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.</li><li>Pave the road to an automated test process in the development lifecycle.</li><li>Track quality assurance metrics.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.</li></ul>
 
*Success in this role means... 
<ul><li>Quality assurance metrics are improved, and established whether not present.</li><li>The number of bugs and production issues identified by end users is significantly reduced.</li><li>QA, and QA automation are embedded in the software development lifecycle.</li><li>The test pyramid is adopted by the team, and increasing automated test coverage is implemented.</li></ul>
 
 
 
 <ul><li>Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Engineering, with a focus on test automation.</li><li>Team player with exceptional communication skills and the ability to work independently.</li><li>Strong understanding and practical experience with software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, particularly in an automated context.</li><li>Proven ability in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive automated test plans and cases.</li><li>Hands-on experience with various automated testing tools.</li><li>Solid knowledge of Java Script and Playwright.</li><li>Some knowledge of TestRail, LambdaTest.</li><li>Knowledge in SQL and scripting for testing purposes.</li><li>Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.</li><li>Experienced with JIRA, Confluence, CI/CD pipelines, and GitLab.</li></ul>
