But we do it—because we are passionate about improving our business and the lives of the people who use our tools.</div><div><b>What will you do?</b><br />As a <b>Regional Business Manager</b> (Refuse Sales), you will be a valuable member of the dynamic Autocar Refuse Sales Group. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales efforts at all levels within the territory and executing sales strategies, both individually and using a team approach for assigned target areas. Key responsibilities include prospecting new accounts, developing relationships, and selling the Autocar value proposition to close new business. Your primary target accounts will be “Top 20” companies, fleets, and contractors, with a focus on delivering profitable growth and increased market share.</div><div><b>The ideal candidate will possess:</b><br />A proven track record in selling premium, high-value refuse products and/or services. Direct experience with a successful track record in Business-to-Business Heavy Truck OEM/Dealer Territory Sales is preferred, though consideration will be given to candidates with territory sales experience in other Refuse and Service Sectors. Is a self-starter, intellectually curious, has an entrepreneurial mindset, hunter DNA, and operates with the highest ethical standards. <span>This candidate understands that </span><span>selling today is about being prepared, investigating</span><span>,</span><span> and data mining.  </span><span>Can understand</span><span> the </span><span>customer's</span><span> business model in depth</span><span> and</span><span> gai</span><span>n</span><span> </span><span>customers'</span><span> trust through hard work.  We do not sell </span><span>trucks;</span><span> we partner with our customers and provide the right tools for their business.  </span></div><div><span> </span></div><div><b>Key Responsibilities</b></div><div><b><i>Account Management:</i></b></div><ul style="margin-top: 0.0px;"><li>Develop and manage relationships with key accounts in the refuse sector, focusing on large fleet customers with complex operational needs.</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for regional fleet customers, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.</li></ul><div><b><i>Sales Strategy &amp; Execution:</i></b></div><ul style="margin-top: 0.0px;"><li>Drive regional sales efforts by developing strategies tailored to the needs of refuse fleet customers.</li><li>Meet or exceed sales targets through direct engagement with end-users, utilizing an in-depth understanding of vocational truck applications.</li><li>Identify new business opportunities and market segments through data assessment.</li><li>Support the sales team in crafting effective sales pitches for prospective clients.</li><li><span>Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the organization. </span></li></ul><div><b><i>Customer Needs Assessment:</i></b></div><ul style="margin-top: 0.0px;"><li>Consult with fleet managers and other stakeholders to assess and address specific operational requirements for large fleets.</li><li>Provide solutions that align with customer requirements and the technical specifications of Autocar trucks, ensuring product offerings meet operational demands.</li></ul><div><b><i>Industry Knowledge &amp; Expertise:</i></b></div><ul style="margin-top: 0.0px;"><li>Leverage experience in the vocational truck industry, particularly with major heavy-duty OEM brands, to serve customer needs effectively.</li><li>Stay informed on industry trends and competitor products to offer value-added solutions.</li></ul><div><b><i>Collaboration with Engineering and Product Teams:</i></b></div><ul style="margin-top: 0.0px;"><li>Work closely with internal product engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence future product development.</li><li>Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in product offerings and support tailored solutions for vocational applications.</li></ul><div><b>What does it take to successfully undertake this role?</b></div><ul style="margin-top: 0.0px;"><li>Minimum of 8 years’ experience in outside sales within the Heavy Truck, Refuse, or similar industries</li><li>Deep overall truck knowledge with the ability to consult and drive preference for Autocar</li><li>Good organization skills, with the ability to coordinate own call schedule and daily planning</li><li>Strong communication and presentation skills</li><li>Skilled in building relationships both externally and internally across a diverse mix of personas</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and using a CRM tool</li><li>Ability to travel extensively</li><li>Strong work ethic, desire to succeed, strive for results, and win</li><li>Quick learner who requires minimal supervision and possesses good problem-solving skills</li><li>Team player with excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Bachelor’s degree preferred</li></ul><div><b><span>What else does it take to be a part of our team?</span></b></div><ul style="margin-top: 0.0cm;"><li style=""><b><span>CHARACTER: </span></b><span>We look for people with integrity, honesty, loyalty, humility, and people who do not engage in internal politics.</span></li><li style=""><b><span>PROACTIVE: </span></b><span>You are a doer;
