We are seeking a Data Intelligence Scientist to join the Therapeutic Data Intelligence vertical of our Customer Therapeutics (CT) Team. Reporting to the Customer Therapeutics Lead - Therapeutic Data Intelligence, you will join our mission of empowering client success through high-quality, customer-centric data insights through close collaboration with an array of professionals including Scientists, Scientific Liaisons, and our Go-To-Market, Product, Data, and Discovery teams. This role will be pivotal to supporting our customers in their therapeutic discovery by identifying and addressing data gaps, refining data quality, and leveraging data-driven insights to guide strategic decision making. You will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to transforming data into actionable intelligence that enhances the relevance and impact of our offerings to our customers.&nbsp;\n You Will:<ul><li>Analyze customer data and internal datasets to identify gaps, trends, and quality issues. Translate these findings into actionable insights that support therapeutic discovery and address unmet client needs.</li><li>Conduct routine data quality assessments across Therapeutic Areas (TAs) and proactively identify areas for improvement.&nbsp;</li><li>Work with internal teams to set and maintain high standards for data quality.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional partners to incorporate customer-derived insights into the data foundations, improving the relevance and depth of data solutions for customer accounts.</li><li>Support the integration of new data sources, ensuring that data quality and coverage meet therapeutic area needs.</li><li>Participate in exploratory and proactive projects focused on addressing data gaps and bolstering the data roadmap. </li><li>Work closely with other teams to provide visibility into data insights, helping to drive proactive, data-driven decisions.</li><li>Conduct assessments at the therapeutic area level to evaluate BenchSci’s data health and coverage, providing recommendations to guide roadmap development and strategic rollout plans.</li></ul> You Have:<ul><li>PhD or MSc in Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, or a related field.</li><li>Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R) with a demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and derive meaningful insights.</li><li>3+ years of experience in data analysis, data quality assessment, or data integration, preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.</li><li>Strong understanding of therapeutic areas, therapeutic data intelligence, or related scientific data processes in the biological sciences.</li><li>Experience with data curation, quality control, and establishing best practices for data integrity.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.</li><li>Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.</li><li>High level of organization, time management, project management, and attention to detail.</li></ul> \nBenefits and Perks:&nbsp;An engaging remote-first culture&nbsp;A great compensation package that includes BenchSci equity optionsA robust&nbsp; vacation policy plus an additional vacation day every yearCompany closures for 14 more days throughout the yearFlex time for sick days, personal days, and religious holidaysComprehensive health and dental benefits.Annual learning &amp; development budgetA one-time home office set-up budget to use upon joining BenchSciAn annual lifestyle spending account allowanceGenerous parental leave benefits with a top-up plan or paid time off optionsThe ability to save for your retirement coupled with a company match!
