Seeking a remote Scrum Master to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Cloud and National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) initiatives. The candidate must be forward-thinking and possess a passion for providing facilitation and guidance for agile teams that are rapidly delivering value to their customers, leveraging concepts of Agile SAFe, Lean, and Kanban.&#160;&#160;Education Requirements:&#160; BS or higher in a technology-related field. MS/MBA is a plus.&#160;Experience:&#160;Required Skills:&#160;<ul><li>Certification: Scrum Master Certification&#160;&#160;</li></ul><ul><li>Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills; prior experience working in a matrix and geographically distributed organization.&#160;</li></ul><ul><li>Mastery in managing and facilitating across teams.&#160;</li></ul><ul><li>At least 3 years of demonstrated Scrum Master experience, or similar technical role in a software development environment.&#160;</li></ul><ul><li>At least 3 years of software delivery management covering all aspects of SDLC.&#160;</li></ul><ul><li>2 years of experience with Project Mgmt. Tools: MS Project, SharePoint, Jira, Office 365, Slack&#160;</li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrate drive, initiative, and creativity.&#160;&#160;&#160;</li></ul><ul><li>Logical, organized, and execution oriented.&#160;&#160;</li></ul><ul><li>Pass a US Government Background Investigation&#160;</li></ul><ul><li>Be able to obtain a security clearance&#160;</li></ul>&#160;&#160;Desired skills:&#160;<ul><li>Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) preferred.&#160;</li></ul><ul><li>Understanding cloud computing technologies, IT business drivers, and emerging computing trends and technologies.&#160;</li></ul><ul><li>Additional Certification: CSPO Certification, SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, Agile Project Management (e. g., Jira/Confluence/MS Project), AWS/MS Azure Certifications&#160;</li></ul>&#160;&#160;Duties/Responsibilities:&#160;The Scrum Master plays a critical role in an Agile Release Train of the Scaled Agile Framework. He/she is expected to act as a lean-agile leader, and team coach to deliver added value to the stakeholders. Prefer demonstrated experience in leading by example, instilling lean, agile practices, and guiding with the necessary system-thinking mindset to achieve higher productivity.&#160;&#160;&#160;<ul><li>Work with teams to facilitate and guide engineers and staff on agile practices.&#160;</li></ul><ul><li>Mastery in managing and facilitation across teams.&#160;</li></ul><ul><li>Drive cross team impediments, planning, collaboration, and coordination.&#160;</li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with Product Owner and team to collectively plan cycles, team sync, backlog refinement, and continuous communications.&#160;</li></ul><ul><li>Facilitate team events, coach the teams, and assist them to deliver added value by closely working with Product Owner and Enterprise Architect &amp; Management.&#160;</li></ul><ul><li>Identify and proactively work to remove barriers, influence decisions, and improve the entire delivery system.&#160;</li></ul><ul><li>Help the team and ART end-users understand their impact on the overall picture of the decision-making process.&#160;</li></ul><ul><li>Prepare and support ART PI Planning&#160;</li></ul>ABOUT GAMA-1GAMA-1 is a rapidly growing technology business that is based in Greenbelt, Maryland.
