Zensurance is seeking a Senior Brand Manager with B2C and e-commerce expertise to shape and amplify our brand in the competitive insurance landscape. In this role, you’ll report to our VP of Marketing. Zensurance caters to and sells direct to hundreds of thousands of sole-proprietors, self employed individuals, side hustlers and micro-business across Canada. Customers come from 100s of industries and professions like dog walking, landscaping, accounting, beauty services, roofers, plumbers, consultants and many more.\n Your Mission:<ul><li>Brand Champion: Own Zensurance's brand identity, ensuring consistency and impact across all channels.</li><li>Customer-Centric Storyteller: Craft compelling narratives that connect with our target audience and drive engagement.</li><li>Data-Driven Strategist: Analyze market trends and leverage insights to inform brand strategies and campaigns.</li><li>Creative Collaborator: Partner with marketing, UX, and external partners to bring our brand to life.</li></ul> Responsibilities:<ul><li>Position Zensurance as the go-to insurance solution for self-employed people and micro-businesses across Canada.</li><li>Develop our brand to increase awareness, stand out, and engage self-employed professionals across Canada, driving e-commerce sales.</li><li>Grow brand awareness metrics.</li><li>Develop compelling creative initiatives broadly across all channels.</li><li>Establish a cohesive brand aesthetic and comprehensive guidelines.</li><li>Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform data-driven strategies.</li><li>Partner with cross-functional teams to develop a unified brand messaging strategy.</li><li>Lead the ideation and execution of innovative B2C brand campaigns.</li><li>Measure brand perception and develop detailed customer personas through qualitative and quantitative research.</li><li>Define and articulate the brand's core values, mission, and strategic vision.</li><li>Collaborate with UX to ensure brand consistency and engagement throughout the user experience.</li><li>Oversee advertising channels and contribute creative input to optimize campaigns.</li><li>Advocate for brand attribution and quantify the impact of brand initiatives.</li></ul> Qualifications:<ul><li>5+ years of brand management experience, with a strong focus on B2C marketing.</li><li>Be a self starter who requires minimal direction.</li><li>Not afraid to take risks and suggest creative ideas beyond what has been done before or what may be expected.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to experiment, measure, analyze data, and derive actionable insights.</li><li>Experience providing creative direction and establishing brand guidelines.</li><li>Demonstrated success in leading impactful B2C brand campaigns.</li><li>Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.</li><li>Creative thinker and problem solver with a passion for brand building.</li><li>Experience with paid media platforms and advertising is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of offline media opportunities and planning tactics is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of AB testing concepts and digital analytics a plus.</li><li>Financial or Insurance background not necessary.</li></ul> \nPerks we offer at Zensurance: • Opportunity to work for Canada’s fastest-growing #insurtech scale-up&nbsp;• Primarily remote work environment available to everyone• Laptop, extra monitor and main accessories are provided&nbsp;• Extra home office and supplies allowance to help with work-from-home set up• Comprehensive and flexible health and dental plans to suit all lifestyles, including mental health&nbsp;• Health/Personal Spending Accounts to subsidize your healthy habits and purchases• Parental Leave Top Up• Weekly Friday companywide huddles for casual catch-ups with other departments• Build next-level relationships with your peers through scheduled companywide virtual and in-person team-building events• Be a part of something special.
