We work with some of the leading brands nationwide and we innovate how brands connect with and convert customers.</p><p></p><h3>Role Overview :</h3><p>The Senior Data Analyst will focus on pre-processing large, often disparate, data sets in order to identify opportunities for additional campaigns to answer large and complex internal or external questions.&nbsp; Strong technical skills as well as an acumen for data visualization allowing for rapid resolution and answers of common questions.&nbsp; Attention to detail and accuracy are critical.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>The Senior Data Analyst will have expertise working with high volumes of structured data (and ideally unstructured as well) in a cloud environment, experiment design, building ETL and data aggregation tools.&nbsp; The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar function at another high-performance company.&nbsp;</p><p></p><h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul> <li>Ability to “data wrangle” known or new data sources by examining data, cleanse/prepare it as needed by removing duplicates, identifying and correcting illogical entries, and creating KPIs and compound metrics&nbsp; used to evaluate the effectiveness and “tell the story” of each campaign</li> <li>Designing, measuring, and interpreting A/B tests&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop ETL processes to pre-process data to ensure that ad-hoc questions can be answered rapidly</li> <li>Be the analytic expert on all data sources, attributes and internal tools&nbsp; for the organization as it relates to answering ad-hoc questions&nbsp;</li> <li>Continually innovate and enhance ROI and performance computations to create additional insights from business KPIs such as revenue or conversion lift</li> <li>Create compelling and uncluttered data visualizations in presentations and dashboards allowing for a clear understanding of the overall story</li> <li>Balance multiple projects and accompanying timelines&nbsp;</li> <li>Work collaboratively within members of multiple teams to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined measurement criteria</li> <li>Develop requirements of more common requests to be implemented in the product for automated access</li> <li>Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of the data through effective quality assurance processes.<br> </li> </ul><h3>Key Skills</h3><ul> <li>Expertise with Python&nbsp; and/or other open source analytic languages is&nbsp; critical</li> <li>Expertise with SQL and/or other database querying languages critical</li> <li>Understanding and working knowledge of at least one BI tool, such as Tableau, with experience in data visualization techniques</li> <li>Experience working with large data sets, ideally in a cloud environment such as AWS.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>And ideal candidate would also have experience designing, measuring and interpreting A/B tests in an ecommerce environment</li> </ul><p></p><p>Ancillary Skills</p><p></p><ul> <li>Attention to detail to identify gaps in information (e.g. data definitions not clear/missing) and resourcefulness and confidence to track down the necessary information&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability and willingness to collaborate and brainstorm with internal teams to identify opportunities and solutions</li> <li>Strong organizational and oral / written communication skills to lead or facilitate discussions over the phone and with remote teams</li> </ul><p><br> </p><h3>Education and Qualification</h3><ul> <li>3+ years of experience in data analytics, ideally in a marketing or eCommerce environment</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required, degree in technical or business discipline ideal</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.</li> <li>5+ years of experience in data analytics, ideally in a marketing or ecommerce environment or an analytically-driven role (analytics, consulting, e-commerce, etc.)</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of SQL and/or experience with Python or R</li> <li>Practical and theoretical knowledge of A/B testing</li> <li>Excellent communication and presentation skills.</li> <li>Ability to translate complex data findings into actionable business strategies.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally and influence both technical and non-technical audiences</li> <li>Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>Competitive salary and stock options</li> <li>Opportunity for continuous learning</li> <li>Fully sponsored EAP services </li> <li>Excellent work culture</li> <li>Opportunity to be an integral part of our growth story and grow with our company</li> <li>Health insurance for employees and dependents </li> <li>Flexible work hours </li> <li>Remote-friendly company </li> </ul>
