In this role, you’ll guide a group of talented test engineers to design, run, and analyze tests, ensuring our client’s POS software meets the highest standards for performance and scalability. The client is a leading payment processing solution provider, serving over 275,000 U.S. businesses.🟩 What's in it for you:<ul> <li>Collaborate with a renowned Fortune 500 client</li> <li>Grow your understanding of payment processing and POS systems</li> <li>Drive and optimize performance and load testing practices within the team, gain valuable hands-on team leadership experience</li> </ul>✅ Is that you?<ul> <li>5+ years of hands-on automation testing experience, including performance and load testing</li> <li>Proficiency with tools like Gatling and K6</li> <li>Experience tracking performance metrics, identifying and fixing bottlenecks, troubleshooting issues, and suggesting improvements</li> <li>Experience with and JavaScript</li> <li>Background in mobile application performance testing (Android, iOS, React Native will be a plus)</li> <li>Strong Docker skills</li> <li>Experience with AWS services</li> <li>Strong leadership skills and QA team leadership experience</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li> <li>Strong communication and collaboration skills</li> <li>Upper-Intermediate English level</li> </ul>Desirable:<ul> <li>Familiarity with the fintech domain and POS solutions</li> <li>SQL DB knowledge and working experience</li> <li>Experience creating comprehensive testing frameworks for POS from scratch</li> </ul>🧩Key responsibilities and your contribution You’ll lead the team in enhancing our POS system’s performance and stability, actively conducting tests, analyzing results, and collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality software solutions for the client.<ul> <li>Lead the team in performance and load testing on the client’s POS system, mobile and cloud applications</li> <li>Create and execute complex test plans and test scenarios</li> <li>Improve performance and identify bottlenecks</li> <li>Drive the creation and implementation of testing frameworks from scratch</li> <li>Work with the development team to resolve performance problems</li> <li>Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership</li> <li>Analyze performance metrics and report on test results</li> <li>Ensure best practices in performance testing and automation are applied</li> <li>Update relevant stakeholders on performance issues and improvements</li> </ul>🎾 What's working at Dev.Pro like?
