The ideal candidate will have a strong background in authoring test cases/scripts, executing tests, and providing critical analysis on requirements for both project-based and support-related activities. The role requires expertise in applications using Kafka and REST APIs, a solid understanding of automation testing, and the ability to contribute to improving code quality and test coverage.What you'll do<ul><li>Author comprehensive test cases and scripts to validate functionalities and requirements. </li><li>Execute tests effectively for both project deliverables and support-related tasks.</li><li>Analyze business and technical requirements and provide feedback on their completeness and testability. </li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of testing needs.</li><li>Leverage technical skills to design, develop, and maintain automated tests. </li><li>Provide input and ideas for improving test automation frameworks and identifying opportunities for automation. </li><li>Identify areas to improve application code quality through increased unit and integration test coverage.</li><li>Provide accurate estimates for all QA efforts, including test case design, test scripting, test execution, and defect correction.</li><li>Participate actively in project ceremonies, meetings, and team sessions. </li><li>Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of </li><li>QA activities into the development lifecycle.</li><li>Assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing test environments to ensure they are used effectively throughout the testing process.</li><li>Understand customer quality metrics and use this knowledge to drive quality improvements. </li><li>Identify and act on opportunities to enhance application performance and quality.</li></ul>What you'll bring <ul><li>5-6 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on the Financial Domain. </li><li>Proven experience in testing applications that leverage Kafka and REST APIs. </li><li>Hands-on experience in designing and executing automated test cases. </li><li>Strong analytical skills to interpret requirements and identify gaps in functionality and test coverage. </li><li>Experience providing accurate time estimates for QA activities, from test design to defect resolution. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within Agile teams and participate in ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. </li><li>Familiarity with unit and integration testing practices to ensure robust application performance.</li></ul><div>Not checking every single requirement?If this role sounds good to you, even if you don’t meet every single bullet point in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
