About the role: On the DevX team at Kong, you will design, develop, and maintain microservices that power the Konnect Dev Portal. The Konnect Dev Portal is the main way our customers’ users discover, experiment, and integrate with their APIs and systems hosted on the Konnect platform. Examples include Portal configuration and customization interfaces, Markdown and OAS documentation editors, API catalogs, Application Registration interfaces, and API Subscription interfaces.&nbsp;</li><li>Design and implement solutions to technical problems of moderate complexity.</li><li>Support those services in production by participating in an on-call rotation.</li><li>Write automated tests to ensure behavior of code and avoid regressions.</li><li>Mentor other team members.</li><li>And any additional tasks required by your manager.</li></ul> What you'll bring:<ul><li>5+ years working in a team to develop, deliver, and maintain complex software solutions.</li><li>Expertise in Vue.js, Typescript, and Javascript.</li><li>Experience developing and supporting a large scale SaaS platform.</li><li>Understanding of and development with git and GitHub workflows.</li><li>Expertise in test-driven development and automated testing.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li></ul> Bonus Points:<ul><li>Deep experience with Vue.js Typescript, or JavaScript.</li><li>A passion for APIs and Documentation.</li></ul> \nKong has different base pay ranges for different work locations globally, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to specific candidate location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
