There’s never been a more exciting time to join Deel — the international payroll and compliance market leader.Responsibilities: <ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Provide senior support to Global Corporate leadership, taking responsibility for the management of various corporate &amp; commercial strategic initiatives and projects to support the growing Global Corporate team.  </li><li>Assist the M&amp;A team with mergers and acquisitions, reviewing due diligence and working with the Global Corporate estate team to streamline corporate operations following acquisitions.</li><li>Work with key internal and external stakeholders to extend and protect the intellectual property rights of the global organization; working with external counsel to handle trademark applications, and dealing with escalations.      </li><li>Handle client consultancy matters as assigned. </li><li>Support and advise the Product team on commercial and legal matters arising from product development and design. </li><li>Advise the business on financial licensing and regulatory matters, engaging external counsel where required.  </li><li>Conduct research and analyze corporate requirements and processes, primarily in relation to the structure and management of the group, and commercial practices.</li><li>Work with complex and practice-specific legal documents, forms, and correspondence, ensuring their accuracy and completeness.</li><li>Coordinate with stakeholders regarding the documentation of corporate actions to ensure compliance with company practices and local regulations.</li><li>Assist cross-functional teams, including Finance, Treasury, Tax, HR, and business operations, as needed.</li><li>Support compliance and corporate governance matters for subsidiaries as directed by the Global corporate team leadership.</li><li>Work with the team to proactively maintain a corporate risk register.  Conduct regular risk reviews, audits and assessments to support compliance efforts.</li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced operational efficiency within the Corporate department.</li><li>Collaborate with external counsel and service providers.</li><li>Assist in preparing reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>6+ years experience in corporate governance, business and commercial law, legal operations, or a related role.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in law, accountancy or corporate administration or related field.</li><li>Strong proficiency in using Jira, Salesforce, Looker, or equivalent tools.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Google equivalents).</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Flexibility and a willingness to learn.  </li><li>Fluent in English</li></ul>Desired Skills:<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Fluent in another language.</li><li>Experience in corporate governance and legal operations.</li><li>Experience working with large international teams spread across multiple time zones.</li></ul>Total RewardsOur workforce deserves fair and competitive pay that meets them where they are.
