Location: Fully remote from France.

Schedule: Five days per week, 9h00 - 18h00 local time in France.

Salary: The salary is between €30,000 - €40,000 gross per annum, and is dependent upon location, experience, skills, and training.

What you will do:

Perform monthly close activities, including preparing journal entries, maintaining
account reconciliations, and conducting monthly variance analysis.
Lead the handover of the accounting function from our external accountants to inhouse accounting.
Lead with the localisation of our Oracle Fusion eXp France instance to be locally compliant.
Assist in reconciling subledger to general ledger account balances.
Provide support for quarterly and annual audits, including preparing detailed schedules, supporting documentation, and financial reports.
Oversee asset management and intercompany accounting.
Respond to external and internal queries via email and phone.
Identify and calculate provisions and handle exceptions to standard bookings.
Assist in the development and documentation of business processes, procedures, checklists, and policies.
Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.

How you will grab our attention:

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of combined experience in accounting and the general ledger close process.
Strong understanding of local GAAP accounting principles; US GAAP knowledge is a plus.
Experience working with Oracle Fusion ERP is highly desirable.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills preferred.

This position allows you to work from any location in France with a stable internet connection. You are expected to provide your own workspace and reliable internet access.

Work Hours:

While core hours are based on the local business schedule, you have flexibility in organizing your work, provided it does not compromise project deadlines or team collaboration.

You will be provided with a company computer and other necessary equipment. Work-related expenses will be discussed and agreed upon in advance.
