About this team&nbsp; The goal of the product design team is to transform our Super App into a cohesive and engaging product that guides our users seamlessly through our fintech, travel experiences. This app is relatively new, and there’s a lot of work to be done designing new features, building links between experiences and improving the overall quality of our product. About the role This role will be responsible for working across the organization to evolve and maintain a comprehensive design system for <a href="http://Super.com" class="postings-link">Super.com</a>’s products across web and mobile app. Your designs will help unlock the potential, and speed, for all product teams at <a href="http://Super.com" class="postings-link">Super.com</a> through our design system. You will set the standards, guidelines, documentation, and governance to uphold the quality standards of our products. You will think and work strategically, using repeatable and scalable design system elements to bring cohesion across all aspects of the digital product.\n Responsibilities <ul><li>As a Principal Product Designer leading the design system across <a href="http://Super.com" class="postings-link">Super.com</a>, you will evolve and maintain components, libraries, patterns, and guidelines across web and mobile app</li><li>You collaborate closely with peer product designers, brand designers, and engineers on initiatives that improve the experience for our customer, and improve how our product teams design and build day-to-day using the design system</li><li>You care about partnering and collaborating effectively through documentation, office hours, and pairing with fellow designers and engineers</li><li>You can quickly iterate and communicate ideas across various levels of fidelity, and can receive and provide feedback constructively</li><li>You continuously advocate for the importance and value of a cohesive design system within the organization, and foster a culture of design excellence and innovation.&nbsp;</li><li>You monitor industry trends and best practices to incorporate into the design system</li><li>You leverage data and conduct research when relevant to gather feedback to continually improve and evolve the design system and our products</li><li>You will collaborate with other designers and engineers to ensure the design system is consistently applied across all products and that it meets the needs and goals of the business.&nbsp;</li><li>Help mentor and coach our product design team to elevate the quality of design standards across <a href="http://Super.com" class="postings-link">Super.com</a> products</li><li>Help develop team processes and find opportunities to level up our design practice</li></ul> Preferred Experience<ul><li>6+ years of product design experience building products and working with engineering teams to take ideas from conception through execution across web and mobile app</li><li>Experience building and contributing to design systems</li><li>Experience working on “0-1” consumer&nbsp; products in a startup environment</li><li>Proven product design skills that value the craft and quality of the visual design and user experience (hierarchy, layout, interactions, etc.)</li><li>Technical understanding of how to design across various breakpoints, devices, and can bridge the gap between design and code</li><li>Experience leveraging user research and quantitative data to inform decisions</li><li>Strong proficiency with&nbsp; Figma (our primary tool) and other tools for design and documentation (Notion, Google suite, confluence, etc.)&nbsp;</li><li>Experience mentoring and coaching designers</li></ul> Nice to have<ul><li>Strong experience with UX writing&nbsp;</li><li>Experience creating engaging icons and animations that bridge the brand identity, user experience, and business needs</li><li>Prototyping skills in Figma or other design tools</li><li>Experience with user retention and growth</li><li>Experience with travel or fintech apps</li></ul> We've got you covered<ul><li>Competitive salary packages, equity options, great benefits from day one, wellness budgets, as well as personal and team-level development budgets&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>We are remote-first – you have the flexibility to work from around the world and the hours that make sense for you– so that you can do your best work while living life on your own terms</li><li>Other perks include: unlimited PTO, recharge days, travel discounts on SuperTravel, Weekly UberEats credit and much more!</li><li>We welcome new family additions with generous parental leave and a flexible return-to-work plan</li><li>This is just scratching the surface – check out our<a href="http://super.com/careers" class="postings-link"> careers site </a>for a more detailed overview of our perks &amp; benefits</li></ul> \n<div>$140,000 - $220,000 a year</div><div>As part of our compensation philosophy at&nbsp;<a href="http://super.com/" class="postings-link">Super.com</a>&nbsp;we benchmark roles based on geographic location.
